"I've heard a lot of lame excuses from Christians, about
how "it's all in the past," or, "those weren't
real Christians doing those things." If Christianity really
is a religion based on atonement, isn't the first step of atonement
a full admission of one's crime(s)? If they really want the respect
of non-Christians(such as myself), then they need to 'fess up
completely and declare a day of recognition which involves a complete
apology to the descendants of their victims and a prayer to their
own God for forgiveness. Then again, that would bring up another
issue. According to their Bible, God orders his followers to kill,
rape, torture and enslave all the unbelievers they can find; not
just in one instance, but in at least a hundred passages. A day
of recognition for Christianity's victims just might shed too
much light on the true nature of their religion......but that

"I am Wiccan, and I do not have a problem with you having
satanic links on your site. For those out there who do, maybe
you should ask yourself why?. Are you that insecure about your
own beliefs that you cannot allow someone else to put your religion
on the same page with satanism? Also, as to the Burning Times
slamming Christians, I've seen no evidence of that. They present
the FACTS, and if that is damning, then maybe it just goes to
prove how hurtful and intolerant Christianity has been. As to
the person asking why the Burning Times deals only with Christianity
and not Judaism or something, well, if you are that bent out of
shape about it, why don't you build your own site dealing with
that? You can get a free website on Geocities or Tripod. We- all
Pagans- are STILL being persecuted TODAY, not just a hundred years
ago, but right now. Maybe that's why they chose this topic."

"I just wanted to say, it cracks me up when I read the section about Christian Opinions. They say the page is for people who are "Satanic" and "devil worshipers"
Well for one thing, if they were smart enough to read about it a little, they might realize, most of us don't believe in Satan. He is a CHRISTIAN deity, not a Pagan one. And second, for such firm Christian believers, dang, they sure do cuss and swear a lot!! "
