Dreyer Although
the burning, torture and killing of Witches is no more in
practice and we are able to move more freely there will
always be a struggle for us.
Even Christians
still have their problems from cults and other
religeons. No religeon is free from persecution
from others. We have to grant them their own
opinions. But yet we can't let all tred on us and
smother us back into secrecy. All we can do is try
to bring out the true meaning of Wicca and all the other
Pagan Religeons sothat at least we will be able to
minimize the hatred that some people feels toward us. And
even if we achieve that, there will always be one or more
people and groups of people who will always see us as
"Evil" and all that is associated with witches
(although most of it is made up by movies and people who
hates us). We have to convince people of who we really are
without encrouching on their religeos beliefs. Keep up the good
work! Blessed

TYPICAL MISCONCEPTION
I thought your site was really cool when I was reading
the Pagan Files,
Newsroom, and I thought your Introduction was really
meaningful. But then I
got to Food For Thought and your Features
page. I thought your site was for
religious freedom, yet you put the Christian Church in
such a bad light. You
act like they are the only ones that make mistakes with
their religion. As
far as I know, you haven't put 1 single article in there
that supports
Christianity, but there are many references to
Christianity being
"monopolizing" and intolerant. Yes, it
happens sometimes, but that does not
make all Christians like that. You seem to support
almost all religions
except for Christianity. I don't really have a
problem with that, but I do
think you're being hypocritical by saying your site
supports religious freedom
and then giving such a huge impression that Christianity
is wrong.

CATHOLIC MONSIGNOR'S HATE TOWARDS US
"Hello,
I am a Monsignor in the Catholic
Church and I am doing a presentation on early witch-hunts
and I fell across your page. Needless to say I was
appaled and shocked. How can you so willingly give
yourself to the Devil? Grab a bible, that is if it
doesn't burn you, and read the chapter Revalations very
closely and beleive it. In the end all sinners will
be punished first, with 40 years of suffering with
'locusts the size of chariots' and the like and then with
the tribulation in which you are judged before god, and
then unless you repent you will cease to exist. And
if you die before the end you have pits of fire and
unspeakable torments to face. Now you may say I am
merely a religious fanatic just trying to scare you, but
if you beleive in Satan must you not also beleive in
God? Of course there is still a chance for you to
save your immortal souls. And before you scoff at
that think carefully about the immortal part because as
bad as you may rebel against soceity on earth I assure
you there will be nothing so kind in Hell. May god
bless you and your like. In nomine patris, et fili,
et spiritus sancti."
