TIBET IN CRISIS

Religious genecide is occuring today in Tibet. The Chinese take-over of Tibet strikes the heart of Religious Freedom. The Dali Lama has been exiled for 40 years from his home. This year China passed a law prohibiting any mention or display of the Dali Lama in Tibet. The 'Forbidden City" has been taken over by the Chinese army. The Dali Lama's successor ( a 9 year old) has been placed under house arrest by the Chinese Government. He is the youngest political prisoner in modern history. China has selected it's own successor (a 5 year old Chinese boy) and is trying to pass him off as the future Dali Lama. Journalists are banned from filming the persecution and destruction of one of the most peaceful religions on this earth.

We are urging the American and European people to spread awareness about the situation in Tibet and put pressure on their governments to put sanctions on China until they resolve their human and religious rights issues.

This year President Clinton ommited the humanitarian clause from the trade agreement with China. His actions gave China the impression that America does not consider humanitarian issues a priority. The American people need to send letters ect. to the President declaring our disaproval of his agreements with China. TIBET NEEDS OUR HELP !!
